Recently spy photographers caught a glimpse of the next Mercedes-Benz C-Class cruising about in the snow, further proving that the automaker has been very busy this winter. With all of the new and exciting models being added to the new Mercedes-Benz lineup, we are always thrilled to hear a preview of what we can expect.
This entry-level model will certainly be bringing some exciting new changes to the table. Predicted to have a more dramatic appearance overall, the Mercedez-Benz C-Class will begin its visual transformation with some body growth. We suspect this is to further differentiate itself from the Mercedes-Benz CLA model. With the incorporation of lightweight materials and parts, this growth in length won't have any impact on its overall weight.
Other enhancements include narrower headlamp designs and other styling additions that boost the model's sleeker exterior. Although the front fascia is covered by camouflage in the photos, we expect the design will be quite impressive.
Not much is changing it terms of powertrains. It will most likely keep the same four and six cylinder options, both gas and diesel powered. However, word on the street says there is perhaps the potential of adding an AMG® option with a turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine.
