While all of us in the greater Shrewsbury area have to wait patiently until September for the Mercedes-Benz CLA to make its way to the Mercedes-Benz of Shrewsbury dealership, another sneak peak was recently released as one was spotted cruising the streets of Barcelona, Spain. As this new redesigned four-door sedan begins its production in Europe, we can gather a few more details of what to expect when it makes its way to the U.S.
The vehicle spotted was a Mercedes-Benz CLA AMG. This means it was enhanced with the AMG line cosmetic package, giving it a sleeker looking bumper, star fall grille, ventilated disk brakes, sports suspension, and other various enhancements inside the model as well.
What other features can we expect from the most highly anticipated model? The details released at the Detroit Auto Show indicate that there are a lot of great technology to look forward to with this model.
Starting with the vehicle's power source, it includes a turbocharged inline-4 engine that generates 208 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It also features a dual-clutch 7-speed automatic transmission with shift paddles.
