Traditions are great, but the design team at Mercedes-Benz likes to break the rules, so when time came to choose a color scheme for its new 45th anniversary SLS AMG GT3 model, the luxury car maker didn't choose sapphire, but matte grey.
To celebrate the 45-year milestone of its performance wing (Mercedes-AMG), the automaker has released this fierce new racetrack-only model.
While some diehards might say that every new Mercedes-Benz vehicle is unique, we have to say that new high-performance SLS is exclusive in every way.
Mercedes-Benz says that AMG brand ambassador Bernd Schneider is heavily involved in the production of SLS AMG GT3 which is "being built by hand in a limited edition"1
Let's talk specifics. The anniversary model begins with the AMG 6.3-liter V8 engine and an AMG engine filter. The model also includes a new designo magno graphite matte finish, AMG light-alloy wheels in designo magno graphite, special logos framed in silver, a steel roll-over cage, and 6-point seat belts. Finally, a matte finish runs throughout the interior.
