Mercedes-Benz has done it again! They've created another prize ride: SLS AMG Black Series. And, Mercedes-Benz of Shrewsbury is very excited to tell you that the German automaker has released even more details on it. That's right; before its official debut at the 2012 LA Auto Show, Mercedes has finally clued us about what we can expect.
Set to enter the new Mercedes-Benz in summer of 2014, the SLS AMG Black Series is a powerful, sleek automobile equipped with a 6.2-liter V8 engine. It goes from zero to 60 miles per hour in 3.5 seconds; it boasts at top speed of 196 mph. Handling has been improved thanks to advances in the ceramic brakes. There's also adjustable coil over suspension and an electronically governed real differential. The car's traditional battery has also been replaced by a lithium-ion battery.
It's lighter, too. Compared to the SLS AMG GT, the
Black Series has shed an impressive 154 pounds. And, inspired by the SLS AMG GT3,
