One thing that Mercedes-Benz has always been ahead of the competition is in the area of technology and modern engineering. Whether it's the latest in luxury interior comfort, or the most high-tech and fuel efficient vehicles, Mercedes-Benz has what you are looking for.
Currently, the luxury automobile makers is taking on a couple new green projects, Fuel Cell Vehicles and alternative energy.
Looking similar to the already available crossover, Mercedes-Benz R-Class, the FCV is composed of a hydrogen fuel cell to power the vehicle. The car is based off a previous concept, seen during the F-Cell World Drive. The company plans on releasing their FCV for 2014.
At a recent press event, Daimler CEO Dieter Zetsche said, "The product is ready for the market, technically. We have proven that by sending three vehicles with a fuel cell around the globe without any relevant problems." Without providing further information, Zetsche indicated the production vehicle would have a range of 250 miles.1
For the time being, you can check out the latest and greatest in German engineering at your local Mercedes Benz dealer: Mercedes-Benz of Shrewsbury in Shrewsbury, MA.
