Video shows the S63 AMG. Do you think it was accidental or on purpose?

The Mercedes-Benz S class was unveiled by Benz last month, and potential customers are eager to get their hands on the latest product of the German company.

Recently, a video was released showing the start of production of the S-Class. The video initially showed the plant of Mercedes-Benz in Sindelfingen, Germany. It also showed the new sedan being assembled inside the plant.

However, the S63 AMG was shown near the end of the video. The S63 AMG is set to enter the market before the end of the year. It is expected to come with a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8…

I spy the 2014 C class.

We aren't expecting to see the next-generation Mercedes Benz C class until next January, but our quick-snapping spy shooters managed to catch a prototype being pulled out from under the covers. In these shots, we can clearly see that the new C-Class will take many of its design cues from the larger E and S class sedans which is something that's especially noticeable with the more vertical taillamps.

When Benz
launches the new C-Class next year, it will reportedly come with a range of gasoline, hybrid and diesel powerplants, as well as a couple of different bodystyles (at…

Innovative Mercedes-Benz Technology Assisted in the Capture of Boston Marathon Bombers

While we are all still recovering from the horrific tragedy that took place during this year's Boston Marathon, it's important that we take the time to be thankful that advanced technology is able to assist in situations where a terrorist needs to be quickly tracked down. S class sedan, coupe, and convertible

It's a busy day over at Mercedes-Benz. In addition to taking the wraps off of the all-new 2014 S class sedan, the company's engineers have been spotted testing the rakish, two-door variant of the Mercedes flagship, which will ditch its CL Class nomenclature in favor of a more precise S-Class Coupe moniker.

Now that we have all the details on the big S-Class sedan, we have a pretty good guess as to how all of that will work its way over to the two-door model. What we're most curious about, however, is how the new car will…

After months of speculations and spy shots...here is the 2014 S class!

There are superlatives and acronyms, there is hyperbole, there are neologisms like "navitainment," there is the longest press release we've ever seen ? it includes a glossary ? and there is the quest to build "the best automobile in the world." What else could it be but the 2014 Mercedes Benz S class?

The new S-Class will launch with two models in the US, the S550 in September and the S550 4Matic following in November, which will probably joined by the inevitable S63 AMG 4Matic. Next year will welcome more powertrains, including a plug-in hybrid. As noted in the brochure that…

A little over one day away from the official S class introduction

A teaser video was released by Mercedes-Benz that showed the new 2014 S Class prior to its upcoming launch on Wednesday. The new flagship of the luxury car manufacturer does not show much of the W222 S-Class since it appeared to have been recorded inside a studio.

The video showed the two-spoke steering wheel along with the leather dashboard, which may increase the excitement level in any Mercedes-Benz enthusiast. The upcoming S-Class brings elegance to this particular model of the vehicle from the luxury car manufacturer. Images of the upcoming vehicle emerged earlier through a leaked brochure for the S-Class…

More new features of the S class revealed.

The back-seat passengers can enjoy an even more pleasant and rich travelling experience thanks to multiple heating, ventilation and massage functions (such as "hot stone" like in spa centres), together with the fact that the backrest can be inclined by up to 43.5 degrees to form a semi-horizontal surface and the unprecedented level of sound proofness, which enables a relaxing and quiet journey while on board the new S-Class.

The 222 series Mercedes-Benz boasts a rich equipment list, which comprises the intelligent stereo multi-purpose camera (in fact, a radar) to scan the road ahead and adjust the suspension and…
